Robert Barnett, prominent DC lawyer, Poli Sci alum, and dedicated member of our Board of Visitors, has passed away at the age of 79. Bob left a lasting mark on the Department of Political Science through his generosity, service, and belief in the power of education. A proud alumnus, he was dedicated to supporting students and sharing his wisdom with the next generation of leaders. His legacy will live on in the countless Badgers whose paths are made brighter because of him.
Bob’s wife Rita Braver, another member of our Board, and their daughter Meredith have generously invited friends interested in honoring Bob’s life to make a gift in his memory to the Rita Braver and Robert Barnett Graduate Student Award in Political Science Fund.
