Monica C. Komer is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Wisconsin—Madison studying comparative politics and political methodology. She is interested in the consequences of women’s political representation, with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa. She holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Miami University in international studies and journalism and a M.A. in political science from Indiana University.
