Biography
Isabel’s research explores the relationship between government and educational institutions, in particular how state politics influences higher education and the dynamics of public university governing boards. She also conducts program evaluations on college-access programs, studies the decisions that lead to education policy at the state level, and how public opinion responds to such policy changes.
Previously, she worked for the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research and the Kalamazoo Promise as a senior research analyst. She has a BA from the University of Michigan.
