Biography
In my research, I apply causal inference methods to design and test strategies to foster intergroup reconciliation in societies affected by violent conflict. My dissertation examines the political effects of competitive victimhood in post-conflict societies and the role that collective acknowledgment can have in improving intergroup relations and support for reconciliation. This research has been supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Open Society Foundation, and the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation.
