Biography

Yena Kim is a Ph.D. student studying international relations. Yena is broadly interested in the political economy of international organizations (IOs). Specifically, she has a particular focus on states’ actions in global governance (e.g. how countries pursue their interests within IOs, how they influence IOs’ decision-making, why they comply with international obligations).

Prior to starting her Ph.D., Yena holds an M.A. in Political Science and double B.A. in Political Science and International Studies and Russian Language and Literature (with Highest Honors) from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.
