Kenneth Klassman

Kenneth Klassman is a partner with the Chicago based law firm Horwood Marcus & Berk Chtd. in both its Real Estate and Business & Finance Groups. Kenny’s multidisciplinary practice navigates the nexus of real estate, finance, venture capital, startups and mergers & acquisitions. Kenny represents developers, owners, landlords and tenants with respect to the purchase, sale, or lease of commercial property including retail centers, office buildings, manufacturing facilities and multi-family apartment buildings, as well as lenders financing the purchase of commercial property. Kenny also represents venture capitalists, startups and entrepreneurs. Many of Kenny’s clients are either new businesses looking to build a strong foundation for future growth or established businesses which are quickly growing and desire to accelerate their growth sustainably. Kenny received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2000 and his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003. He and his wife are actively involved in a wide range of civic and community groups in Chicago, and Kenny belongs to many legal and professional associations including the International Council of Shopping Center, the Commercial Lease Law Insider Advisory Board and Meals on Wheels Chicago.
