Kate Schleitwiler Kruizenga

Kate Schleitwiler Kruizenga currently works as a Strategy Lead for the Chief Information Officer of Kaiser Permanente.   In this role, Kate is building a long-term workforce strategy for the IT function of the country’s largest managed care organization. Previously Kate worked as an internal strategic consultant with an emphasis on business development and partnerships at Global Citizen Year and Teach For America.  Prior to moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she helped strengthen operational processes and supported election data collection at the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board and served with AmeriCorps in three elementary schools in Madison, WI with Schools of Hope.  Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.   She currently lives in Oakland, CA with her husband and son, and enjoys road cycling, hiking and backpacking, and serving the community through her church and neighborhood association.
