About

Susanne is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in international relations, with a second field of comparative politics. Her research focuses on the intersection of domestic politics and IR. Her broader research interests lie international political economy, international organizations, and authoritarianism, with a focus on the behavior of authoritarian states in the global economy. Her dissertation project analyzes the determinants of trade agreements signed by nondemocratic states. Susanne holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from King’s College London.
