About
Rachel Jacobs is a PhD candidate in comparative politics and international relations. Her research focuses on political violence, revolution, and post-conflict politics. Her regional expertise is in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Cambodia. Rachel was previously a research analyst on democratic governance for Freedom House and served as a Southeast Asia analyst for their annual publications. She holds an MA in international relations from the University of Chicago and a BA (magna cum laude) in government and Asian Studies from Cornell University.
