My name is Abby Kaufman and I am a senior from Omaha, Nebraska. I am majoring in Political Science and Legal Studies, with a certificate in Education Policy. After graduation, I plan to work in the nonprofit sector before applying to law school in Chicago. Throughout my time in Madison, I have become involved in the Deans of Students Advisory Board through the Associated Students of Madison and am interning with the Family Court Clinic at the Law School through the Legal Studies field study course. Additionally, I studied abroad in Rome in Spring 2025, where I took Political Science courses on global environmental policy and the Italian mafia. I’m excited to work with you all this semester!
