Sarah Bouchat is a PhD student focused on political methodology and comparative political economy. Sarah's regional emphasis is Southeast Asia--in particular, Myanmar. Sarah also completed a joint MA in Agricultural and Applied Economics in 2016. Before joining the department, Sarah worked as a Research Associate at the National Endowment for Democracy's International Forum for Democratic Studies. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree (2008) in International Studies from the University of Chicago and a Master in Public Policy (2011) from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Sarah will be joining Northwestern University as a College Fellow in Fall 2017 and an Assistant Professor in political methodology in Fall 2018.
