Frederick Chen is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His main research interests include international security, international political economy, public opinion, experiment, and quantitative methods. Born and raised in Beijing, China, Frederick received his B.A. in International Politics (with Distinction) from Tsinghua University (2013) and M.A. in International Relations from Peking University (2016). Prior to coming to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he was a visiting graduate student in the Department of Political Science at Yale University and at the University of Alberta.
