Anna Oltman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her dissertation examines the international politics of refugee protection, specifically the decision by extra-regional actors to resettle refugees from foreign crises to their own territory. Apart from her dissertation research, her work focuses on explaining humanitarian foreign policy, international migration, and public perceptions of international actors.
