Research
My research interests center around the interaction of domestic political competition and national security policy. They include: issue ownership, party reputations, public opinion, and electoral behavior with respect to national security issues; American foreign and defense policy; civil-military relations; political-military affairs; security assistance; operations other than war; and European security.
